After graduating from the University of Virginia with a degrees Mechanical Engineering and Business product development in 2010, Brett started his career as a General Contractor in Manhattan, NY to begin learning the development industry from the construction “boots on the ground” aspect. After 3 years of formal training in NYC, Brett relocated to the Bay Area in 2013 to continue learning about the development industry as a GC for two major projects; a campus wide retrofit of the entire water supply system at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA and the construction of the 42-story high rise at 399 Fremont Street in San Francisco. Since 2015, Brett has worked as an Owner’s Representative/Developer role in the Multi-Family and Hospitality industries. After managing the development of all the new Kimpton Hotel properties for roughly 3 years from their HQ in San Francisco, he most recently relocated to Kauai, HI to redevelop the Princeville Resort before the COVID-19 pandemic. Now returned back to San Francisco, Brett is now focused on delivering as many successful
development projects as a seasoned developer with 10 years of unique experience with extremely challenging projects across the country from Hawaii to New York City and everything in between.
